6-foot-8 UCLA center Adem Bona, drafted 41st overall by the Philadelphia 76ers, signed a four-year, $8 million deal. The Nigerian-born player, who holds a Turkish passport, will serve as the team's third-string center behind MVP Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond. Bona, 21, was Pac-12 defensive player of the year and twice received all-defensive team honors. The 76ers aim for Bona to develop into a key backup center for the future.
