EU Ambassador Hervé Delphin states the 9th round of India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) talks require a "strategic and political drive" as they grow increasingly complex. The talks, due in September, aim to build on the $135bn in two-way trade in goods during 2023-24. Since June 17, 2022, India and the EU have been negotiating a Trade and Investment Agreement, aiming to boost commerce and investments.
