Porsche's new Panamera, yet to be named, has set a new luxury sedan record at the Nürburgring with a lap time of 7:24.17 minutes, 5.64 seconds faster than the previous generation. The upcoming top-spec model is likely to be the Turbo S E-Hybrid, powered by an electrified twin-turbo V8 engine. The Panamera now holds the fastest lap time for luxury-class sedans with combustion or hybrid powertrains.
