New Zealand's GCSB's NCSC review recommends improvements in handling foreign cyber threats against MPs.
A review of the New Zealand Government Communications Security Bureau's (GCSB) National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has found the need for improvement in handling foreign threats against MPs and others. The report recommends that the NCSC should consider wider implications of cyber security incidents and whether to contact the targeted individuals. The review followed concerns that the GCSB had not informed MPs and an academic who were targeted by state-backed Chinese hacking group APT 31.
