The New Zealand government has launched a phone-based case management system for 4,000 job seekers aged 18 to 24, aiming to increase engagement with the ministry by 50,000 annually. The service provides each job seeker with a case manager to help them find employment. Social Development and Employment Minister, Louise Upston, hopes this new initiative will reduce the time under 25s spend on welfare.
