LA Angels selected Tennessee second baseman Christian Moore at 8th overall in the 2024 MLB Draft, making him the highest-drafted Tennessee baseball player in the Tony Vitello era. This is the 5th first-round pick under Vitello, and the third first-round hitter. Moore joined Blake Burke, Billy Amick, and Dylan Dreiling who were also selected in the 2024 MLB Draft.
