Over a third of major UK airports have increased drop-off fees for drivers in the past year, according to a study by the RAC. These airports include Gatwick, Edinburgh, Birmingham, and Bristol, which have all raised their fees by £1. The RAC stated that these charges are "bordering on the ridiculous" for drivers paying up to £7 for a short stop. Stansted airport continues to top the list for the most expensive drop-off cost, with an initial fee of £7 for 15 minutes.
