Maharashtra government to hand over 4.39-acre land in Bandra Kurla for new Bombay High Court building by September 10.

The Maharashtra government informed the Supreme Court that a 4.39-acre land parcel in Bandra Kurla will be handed over by September 10 for the construction of a new Bombay High Court building. The court had previously directed the Maharashtra government to release pending 9.64 acres of land by December 2024 for the project. The Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court is free to expedite the architect and design finalization process.
