Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar announced a Rs 1,800 crore project to construct 157 km of pothole-free white-topped roads in Bengaluru. The roads are expected to last 25 years and daily construction work will be launched in three to four wards. Additionally, the government has decided to construct 200 km of new roads to address traffic congestion, with a focus on ensuring quality in the white topping work.
