Japan has launched new banknotes featuring advanced 3D hologram technology to prevent counterfeiting. The new 10,000 yen, 5,000 yen, and 1,000 yen notes were introduced by PM Fumio Kishida, who emphasized that the individuals depicted on the bills symbolize Japanese capitalism, women's equality, and scientific innovation. Despite the introduction of these new notes, the existing currency will remain valid.
