Despicable Me 4 continues its box office dominance, adding $44.7m to its total, while horror film Longlegs enjoys a strong debut, taking $22.6m and scoring the best opening for an R-rated film this year. Longlegs, an original horror film about a serial killer starring Maika Monroe and Nicolas Cage, was acquired by indie outfit Neon, known for releasing Oscar-winning film Parasite, for distribution.
