Bulgaria's largest battery energy storage system (BESS) with a 25 MW/55 MWh capacity, developed by Kehua and Solarpro, has commenced commercial operations in Razlog Municipality. Located near a 33 MWp solar plant, the hybrid solar plus storage project is integrated into the transmission system operator (TSO) grid. The solution includes Kehua's 1500Vdc PCS and MV transformer integrated solution.
