The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) submitted a 2,000-page scientific survey report on the disputed Bhojshala-Kamal Maula mosque complex to the Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on July 15th. The report, requested by the High Court, followed a three-month survey of the 11th-century monument, which has been the subject of a long-standing dispute between Hindus and Muslims. Hindus consider Bhojshala a temple of Vagdevi (Goddess Saraswati), while Muslims call it Kamal Maula mosque. The court will hear the case on July 22nd.
