Ashok Leyland secures its largest order for 2,104 fully-built buses worth Rs 981.45 crore from Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC). The buses will be fully compliant with the latest CMVR standards, feature AIS 153 compliant bodies, and have the proven iGEN6 BS VI OBD II technology with 197 HP H-Series Engine, among other advanced features. MSRTC, one of India's largest state transport undertakings with over 15,000 buses, will integrate these new, modern buses into its fleet, further strengthening Ashok Leyland's position in the bus segment.
