The Arizona Humane Society has sent a disaster team to San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation to help pets injured in the Watch Fire, which has burned 2,162 acres and left many without homes. The team is providing medical care and shelter for evacuated pets, including 15 dogs, six puppies, and three cats. The evacuation center for pets is located at Apache Gold Casino & Resort.
