AMD India partners with IIT-Bombay's SINE incubator to support semiconductor startups. Under the partnership, AMD will grant funds to IIT-B incubated startups developing energy-efficient spiking neural network (SNN) chips, focusing on reducing energy consumption in conventional neural networks. AMD aims to improve energy efficiency for its processors and accelerators in HPC and AI training by 2025.
