Airbus has raised its 20-year demand forecast for jetliners, predicting a 48,230-plane global fleet by 2043, with Asia and the Middle East, especially India and China, driving growth. The company expects deliveries of 42,430 new airplanes over the next two decades, a 4% increase from previous estimates. Single-aisle passenger planes, like the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 series, are in high demand, with a revised forecast up by 3% to 33,510 units.
