Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, sold his London home in 1996 to focus on Nigeria's development.
Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, revealed that his passion for an industrialised Nigeria is the reason he doesn't own properties outside the country. Speaking at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Dangote stated that he once had a house in London but sold it in 1996 to avoid distractions and focus on Nigeria's development. Apart from his Lagos house, Dangote also has a home in Kano and rents an apartment in Abuja.
