60-year-old truck driver electrocuted in Windsor Estates, East Bank Demerara, after truck contacts 13,800-volt primary network.
60-year-old truck driver Maniram Navindralall was electrocuted while offloading concrete blocks in Windsor Estates, East Bank Demerara. His truck accidentally came into contact with a 13,800-volt primary network, causing his instant death. The Ministry of Labour's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Department launched an investigation, led by Assistant Chief OSH Officer Royden Croal, to determine the causes and suggest preventative measures.
