At Euro 2024, Spain's Lamine Yamal, 16 years and 338 days old, became the youngest player in European Championship history, breaking Poland's Kacper Kozlowski's record (17 years and 246 days at Euro 2020). Yamal further made history by being the youngest to score at Euros in Spain's 2-1 semi-final win against France. Conversely, Portugal's Pepe, 41, set the record as the oldest player to appear in a European Championship match.
