81-year-old Indiana civic leader and Pacers Sports & Entertainment Vice Chairman Jim Morris passed away. Morris was a "constant presence in Gainbridge Fieldhouse" and was a mentor, family member, and ultimate fan to the Indiana Pacers. His involvement in Indianapolis' development spanned six decades, with contributions to Unigov, IUPUI, Market Square Arena, the Indiana Sports Corp, and the Hoosier Dome. Governor Eric Holcomb shared his condolences, calling Morris a "favorite son and true servant leader."
