Parliament proposes amending Road Traffic Regulations 2012, granting MPs/Ministers sirens, exempting speed limits.

Parliament has proposed a Legislative Instrument (L.I) to amend Road Traffic Regulations 2012, granting MPs and Ministers of State privileges previously reserved for emergency and specialised vehicles. If passed, these changes will allow the fitting of sirens or bells on their vehicles, enabling them to navigate through traffic. Additionally, speed limit regulations will no longer apply to them.
