Nigerian Customs Officer Hamza Abdullahi-Elenwo was killed by a suspected smuggler during a stop-and-search operation on Daura-Kano road in Jigawa State. The suspect's vehicle struck the officer as he attempted to apprehend them. The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody.
