Coast Guard locates body of missing kayaker in Bar Harbor; search involved helicopter and boat. The kayaker was reported missing after leaving their Bar Harbor residence at 4:30 PM and not returning by 8 PM. Despite resuscitation attempts, the person was pronounced dead. The Coast Guard offered condolences to the family and thanked all involved agencies for their dedication to the search effort.
