The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) will temporarily shut down the centralized cooling system at NAIA Terminal 3 from July 16-17 to install six new cooling towers. The upgrades aim to resolve inadequate cooling issues and will affect 27,000 passengers on 117 flights during the 12-hour installation period. MIAA General Manager Eric Ines asks for understanding and cooperation from airport users during this time.
