Labour Commissioner Charandeep Singh has been awarded the SKOCH Award 2024 for leading the "Sustainable and Zero Landfill Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2023" project. The initiative involved operating 13 SWM facilities, educating pilgrims on waste minimization, and using innovative solutions like organic waste shredders. Singh's work has been presented at COP-28 in Dubai.
