India's defence exports have seen a 30-fold increase in the last 10 years, jumping from Rs 686 crore in FY 2013-14 to Rs 21,083 crore in FY 2023-24, reflecting global acceptance of Indian defence products and technologies. Over 85 countries across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America have received exports from around 100 Indian defence firms. Government initiatives, like 'Make in India,' and simplified, industry-friendly export procedures have contributed to the growth of defence exports.
