250 homes were demolished in Delhi's Khyber Pass, displacing hundreds of residents. On Saturday, 15 acres out of 32 acres of land owned by the Land and Development Office (L&DO) were cleared, affecting pregnant women, infants, the elderly, and students. The remaining land will be cleared later. The demolition drive aimed at clearing encroachments on prime city land valued at over Rs 2,000 crore. The L&DO received approval from the Delhi High Court to proceed with the eviction after previously being halted.
