ECOWAS Court holds Ghana liable for withholding 2009 investigation report on Isaac Mensah's father's disappearance.
The ECOWAS Court found Ghana liable for breaching citizen Isaac Mensah's right to information on his father's enforced disappearance in The Gambia, by not releasing the UN/ECOWAS 2009 Investigation Report and other documents. The court dismissed other claims regarding arrest, detention, and disappearance of West African migrants in 2005. Ghana is ordered to release the requested documents within four months.
