Arsonist Kiall Powell blamed a heritage-listed Albion Park home fire on a discarded cigarette, but incriminating phone calls revealed his involvement. CCTV footage caught Powell walking away from the scene of the blaze on June 24, 2023. Two occupants, a man and woman, were not home at the time but returned to find their house destroyed and belongings worth over $15,000 lost.
