37-year-old Nicaraguan boxer Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez made a successful comeback to the bantamweight division, defeating former world title challenger Rober "El Huracan" Barrera in a 10-round match at Managua's Polideportivo Alexis Arguello. Gonzalez, a four-division champion, dominated the fight, with the referee stopping it in the tenth round, marking Gonzalez's first fight since December 2022.
