49-year-old Lucas Suarez Ramos was arrested for DUI and vehicular manslaughter after a pedestrian in a wheelchair was hit and killed in Lodi on Thursday night. The collision occurred at the intersection of Cherokee Lane and Elm Street. The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital but later died. The Lodi Major Accident Investigation Unit is handling the investigation.
