15-year-old actor Oscar Hartland, who played baby Neil on Gavin and Stacey, has expressed disappointment at not being included in the sitcom's upcoming final Christmas special. Hartland, who first appeared on the show in 2008 and last featured in its 2019 festive special, said that he had hoped to be called in for the final episode. The character of Neil is the son of Smithy (James Corden) and Nessa (Ruth Jones).
