Bogaerts, out since late May with a broken left shoulder, was activated from the 10-day injured list for the series opener against the Braves. In corresponding moves, the Padres placed reliever Wandy Peralta on the 15-day IL with an adductor strain and optioned catcher Brett Sullivan.
