Tasmania recruits 10 GPs for rapid response team to support rural, regional crises by September 2024.

Tasmania is recruiting 10 GPs for its GP NOW Rapid Response Team to support rural and regional communities in crisis. The team, set to launch by September 2024, will provide temporary intervention and crisis support in areas facing challenges in private general practice. The Tasmanian Government aims to ensure Tasmanians can still see a doctor while exploring long-term solutions for these communities.
