Syracuse, NY received a $50 million federal grant to revitalize its 15th Ward, where Interstate 81 is being demolished. The $1.1 billion project aims to transform the historically Black neighborhood, rebuild distressed public housing units, and create a multi-generational, mixed-income community with modern, accessible housing. The federal grant will also fund a stadium, health center, urban parks, gardens, and Wi-Fi services.
