4 people rescued from a stricken yacht near Fastnet Rock off the coast of Co Cork by Castletownbere RNLI lifeboat. The yacht experienced mechanical and electrical issues, posing a potential navigational hazard. Castletownbere lifeboat towed yacht to Long Island, before transferring to Schull Coast Guard rib, which brought it safely to Schull Harbour. Duty Launching Authority praised the yacht's crew for seeking help early.
