2 pedestrians died in a crash early Saturday on I-215 in Salt Lake City. A woman exited her SUV and was struck by a silver Kia Spectra. The male driver of the SUV, who tried to help, was then hit by a Volkswagen Tiguan. The female pedestrian died at the scene, while the male succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. I-215 West Eastbound was closed at Redwood Road for investigation and has since reopened.
