Pakistan's FBR plans to expand its fixed retailers tax scheme to 42 cities, setting minimum tax rates from Rs100 to Rs10,000 per month based on shop valuation. Aiming to collect Rs50 billion annually under the IMF program, PM Shehbaz Sharif will visit FBR HQ for a briefing on digitization and tax base expansion. Currently, only 44,830 retailers out of over 3 million nationwide are registered in the Tajir Dost Scheme.
