David Umahi, clarified that the Nigerian Federal Government, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has not halted ongoing road projects, but will review them based on available funds, prioritizing projects at 80% completion. The government aims to implement budgeting and funding innovations to speed up road infrastructure development, and will not initiate new projects without sufficient funding. Contractors who do not accept the new terms have been advised to terminate their contracts.
