NIA charges four Maoists in Chhattisgarh for attacking police personnel on January 16th.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has charged four Maoists in Chhattisgarh for allegedly attacking police personnel. The accused, Aaytu Ram Nuruti, Manoj Kumar Hichami, Suresh Nuruti, and Budhuram Padda, were charged under the Indian Penal Code, Arms Act, Explosive Substances Act, and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The NIA found that the accused were members of the proscribed organization CPI (Maoist) and involved in attacking a search team of police and security personnel on January 16th in Kanker.
