Nashville's Parthenon museum returns pre-Columbian artifacts to Mexico upon discovery by Assistant Curator Bonnie Seymour.
Nashville's Parthenon museum is returning pre-Columbian artifacts to Mexico after Assistant Curator Bonnie Seymour discovered them in the collections. The artifacts, found with little identifying information, were initially part of a collection donated for tax deductions in the 1960s. Seymour's quest to return them led to an exhibit, "Repatriation and Its Impact," and efforts to change Nashville's charter.
