Maharashtra cyber police booked YouTuber Dhruv Rathee after a parody account on X posted a fake message claiming Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla's daughter cleared the UPSC exam without appearing for it. The YouTuber was booked under BNS sections for defamation, intentional insult, and statement leading to mischief, as well as the IT Act. The parody account's bio stated it was not affiliated with Rathee's original account.
