An $8m aerial tram project at Hawks Nest State Park in Fayette County, West Virginia, is set to be completed by next summer, with construction commencing this week. The new tram, which will descend the canyon to the New River, will replace the previous 1970 structure that was closed in 2021 due to structural issues. The new tram will be fully ADA-accessible and is part of a $250m investment in state park improvements under Governor Jim Justice.
