Kenny Omega, former AEW World Champion, underwent surgery for diverticulitis in May, a condition he has wrestled with since last year. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there is no update on his potential return, but he will be returning to the ring. Although not cleared to start training, Omega is said to be "doing better" following the surgery. His wrestling career is believed to be far from over.
