JBS Foods Canada invests $90m in a new beef patty processing line and fulfilment center in Alberta, expanding production capacity and creating jobs.

JBS Foods Canada plans to invest $90m in a new beef patty processing line and fulfilment center at its Brooks facility in Alberta, thanks to the Agri-Processing Investment Tax Credit program. The expansion will increase production capacity by 7 million kg annually, supplying more beef to restaurants in western Canada. Construction started and is set to be completed by fall 2025, creating up to 24 permanent and 170 temporary jobs.
