IPMAN, Nigeria's independent petroleum marketers, asks NNPC for 50% petrol allocation to reduce fuel prices and queues. The group claims to currently buy petrol at inflated rates from private depot owners, causing higher selling prices. National Vice President, Hammed Fasola, states that if IPMAN members receive petrol directly from NNPC, prices would be more affordable and queues at filling stations would decrease.
