Firefighters in Kelowna extinguished a blaze in a unit on the second floor of Heath House, a supportive housing development on Highway 97. The fire was discovered around 12:45 p.m. and crews quickly knocked it down, preventing serious damage. The suite experienced smoke and water damage, but no injuries were reported. Most residents were able to return to their suites after firefighters ventilated the building.
