76ers sign forward KJ Martin to a two-year, $16m contract in trade deal for James Harden.
The Philadelphia 76ers agreed to a two-year, $16 million contract with forward KJ Martin, who was acquired in the November trade that sent James Harden to the LA Clippers. The deal keeps Martin with the 76ers, who also acquired Marcus Morris, Nicolas Batum, and Robert Covington in the trade. These moves were part of a plan by Sixers President Daryl Morey to free up roster and salary-cap space for a big splash in free agency.
