Climate activists from Rising Tide raised awareness for a planned port blockade in Newcastle, with around 60 people gathering at Horseshoe Beach on July 13th. The event was part of a national tour promoting the People's Blockade in November. Rising Tide representatives have met with members across various states and territories in Australia during the three-week tour, aiming to involve 10,000 people in 10 days of action, with seven days in the Hunter region and three in Canberra.
